One of the ways I learned so much was to read and research a lot.  Here are some of my favorite resources. Enjoy!

Planning Websites:Born For Travel

Touring

One of my favorite sites is a free site. They have crowd calendars, wait times, best times to visit. All sorts of great resources.

WDWEasy.com

The next site has some free resources, but my favorite is the customized planning itineraries you can create. I also trust their crowd calendars as well. I keep an annual subscription to their site for myself. (I also use their app)

Dietary Concerns

Dealing with vacations AND family with food allergies can be challenging. I have had experience with that and I have found Disney SUPERB in accommodating those issues. When a family member has Celiac’s Disease or food allergies, one becomes very concerned about how to eat safely. First off, I always make sure that the Resorts are notified of any food concerns and that it is added to the reservation. After that, I go to work finding out more about the menus. Here are a couple of sites I rely on.

Smartphone Apps

These days almost everyone has a smart phone. And so many companies have been very clever in creating useful apps to make your trip to Disney more efficient. And that means Magical. 😉

This first app is my favorite. Of course, it is the Disney app and they know how to do it right.

MyDisneyExperience App

Here is a handy-dandy pdf that lists some of the very useful tools this app has.

Explaining the My Disney Experience App

Going along with my Touring Plans website that I like is the associated app. It gives you wait times, park hours, menus as well as FastPass+ availability. Quite handy.

Disney Dining Plan

So you decided to do the Disney Dining Plan, eh? Wanted to prepay for your meals or not have to worry about budgeting while you are in the parks? Perhaps the Disney Dining Plan came with your vacation package. Hurrah! 🙂 However…I have found this to be really confusing to explain to clients. Luckily for us Disney knew it was a little confusing. So they made a video. Check it out. It is SO helpful!

Magic Your Band

Magic Your Band is a fun way to be creative with your Magic Bands. Magic Bands just come in basic colors. If you are creative like me, you may want to pizzaz up your Magic Band. These are easy peel and stick decals that go right on top of your Magic Band. They are waterproof and stay on a really long time. Totally not necessary. Totally FUN!

GardenGrocer.com

My favorite site for groceries. Often times, you can get a car service to stop at a grocery store for 20 min on the way from the airport to your resort. You have to deal with remembering what you want, trying to find your way around a new grocery store, hoping they have your brand. And let’s be honest, you are itching to get on with your vacation! Wouldn’t it be wonderful if your groceries were already waiting at your resort for you? 🙂 They can be with Garden Grocer. You simply create an account, shop online, and tell them when you want your groceries delivered. Yippee! The Disney resorts have a big fridge to keep items cold, so no need to worry about that. This is the company I use and have always been so pleased with their service!
