Hello, fellow wanderers! My name is Jessica.
My passion for travel began in 2018 when I took a group tour with a company called Collette. You may have heard of them! I went to Canada for the first time in December of that year. It was freezing and as a native Texan, I don’t tolerate the cold well. Despite this, it was one of the best experiences of my life. It opened my eyes to a richer world, a world so different from the one I’d been living for twenty-five years. That’s when I realized I needed to see everything.
In 2021, my husband and I went on the road for over three months, having just built out an old van we bought and visited 22 states and 10 National Parks. To say that changed my life is an understatement. We trekked through mountains in Colorado, the red rocks of Arizona, saw the coasts of California, bison in Montana, visited downtown Chicago and New York, saw the great Niagara Falls, and visited family and friends along the way. It was the most magical experience. After that, I wanted to make travel my top priority.
A little about me, I graduated from The University of North Texas for Film and TV Production in 2016. I also have a career in dog grooming and have been doing that for eleven years (I still love it!). I’ve been happily married for four years to my high school sweetheart and spend most of my time off writing, playing with my senior pup, and traversing the Austin area.
I’m so excited to be here with Born For Travel and to help you book your next adventure! I will be so excited to plan along with you as if I were going myself! I have extensive experience with cruises and Mexico as well. I can’t wait to wander with you
